Pastoral Care

Students enrolled for Kindergarten at Holy Family are supported in their transitioning by being allocated a buddy from Year Six to support them on this journey. These buddies are provided numerous opportunities to create strong friendships with each other in the term prior to Kindergarten beginning as well as further strengthening this buddy relationship through planned activities throughout the Kindergarten year to ensure each child settles in well to life at ‘big school’.

Home Care Group

Holy Family Primary School has a strong home care group that is in place for families. This group is called upon when we have members of our community experiencing times of difficulty such as a loss of job, an illness in the family or a change in family situations. Our home care group is led by a dedicated group of parents who organise meals and, at times, child drop offs or pick-ups as well as maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all.

Our school is a family among the community of families we serve’ (Holy Family Vision Statement excerpt).
